Episode 05: Santa's Slay UNCUT AND UNCENSORED
Hey everyone we have a special treat for you today! This episode was originally supposed to be our Christmas episode but due to some severe setbacks the show was pushed back until today. Well WAIT NO MORE! This episode is very special because due to Chris having some recording issues, we could not fix his stream. It was ruined beyond all repair.
At this point Amanda, Chris, and I had two choices. Choice one was a difficult one. Chuck the episode in the trash and just record another one to release. We all had fond memories of this episode and frankly, it was too god damn funny to throw it away. So that brought us to OPTION 2! We did a little bit of click cleaning up and dead air editing and released Chris' stream which has all of our audio on it!
Now, I know people complained the first two episodes sounded like shit and I don't disagree with you at all. That said, I beg of you all to just deal with the audio issues. This is the funniest episode we've ever produced hands down. It's so offensive and crude that none of us could stop laughing for the duration.
Thank you all again for your patience with the show and I hope you enjoy this special UNCUT AND UNCENSORED EPISODE OF BIG PILE OF SHOW!
Episode 04: Double Team
Hey guys we’re back again and this time we’re tackling 1997s DOUBLE TEAM with Jean-Claude Van Damme!!! Oh man…Where do I even begin with this one? Pornographic karate stretching, the most futuristic use of lasers in the history of cinema, and grenades that can level guam in one fell swoop! Oh yeah…and DENNIS RODMAN!
Listen to Chris, Amanda, and I debate the merits of explosives, hairstyles, flying while nine months pregnant, and how the CIA might be keeping tabs on the entire world with a secret island filled with (supposed) dead people!
Episode 03: Sleepaway Camp
Hey everyone! After a bit of a editing related hiatus we are back with our third show! This one is a whopper. 1983s SLEEPAWAY CAMP! This film was sponsored and approved by NAMBLA. Sit back, relax, and watch us get really uncomfortable talking about this wretched piece of cinema.
I would also like to let you know that our mini hiatus brings some good news! We’ve worked out the kinks editing wise! Everything going forward will sound excellent and a lot better than it has in the past. We were able to kill most of the ambient background noise that made the shows sound less than stellar and also add in a theme song. It may still be the same show but you wouldn’t know it by the way it sounds now!
Episode 02: Godzilla vs Megalon
Hey everyone we’re back with episode number two and it’s 1973s robot contest fodder Godzilla vs Megalon! This one has everything you need to enjoy a movie. Annoying children, terrible adult role models, creepy guys in togas, giant robots, and yes, even monsters!
So thanks again for listening and if you like our show please tell your friends! The more people that listen the better!
Episode 01: The Last Starfighter
Thank’s for joining us for our first ever episode where we’re going to talk about 1984’s blockbuster hit, The Last Starfighter! We laughed, we cried, well, mostly cried. Bear with the audio quality I promise it improves after a few episodes. We were still working out the kinks during the initial recording.
Enjoy the show and thanks for listening!
Big Pile of Show has a new homepage!
Hey everyone! Thanks for following us to our new home. This podcast has been a bigger pain in the ass than anyone of us thought it would be but we're sticking with it. Hosting issues with tindeck today made me decide to switch up how exactly we publish the show and what not. We've switched to Internet Archive for hosting and moved over to Blogspot for actual web hosting. These are the necessary steps required in order to get the show published on itunes and on other sites. so we can make our show as easy as possible to listen to!
So thanks again for following us to our new home and for those new listeners who are just now finding us, we hope you enjoy the show!
